It’s time for me to make changes in my life. I’ve had this day job for the past 13 years at an electronics company as a quality control inspector and solderer. Sadly this will come to an end when I take voluntary redundancy this Christmas. Gulp! So I am going to spend a few months building up my portfolio and boost myself with a big dose of “reckless confidence” - a phrase I read on Twitter but have never in my life displayed. Who knows what will happen? Wish me luck x

I'm hoping to be inspired by DeviantArt and find myself producing more art for myself and others on this site. I've been working on and off as an illustrator for quite a few years, always holding down other jobs to pay the bills. I love drawing and painting and am looking forward to seeing how I might progress from here.

Hi! I guess it depends on what the request is. If it's to do with a particular person from a movie or television, for instance, I prefer them to stay true to how the character has been written. If that makes sense 🙂

Thank you. With the teddy bear artwork I get given deadlines. For example, I did three large paintings of groups of teddy bears. One of them is on this page. I was given about ten days to paint them all. I can comfortably do one painting in about three days depending on content.
